Overview
The 5-Peaks race series is a set of 5 different races each taking place a month apart (May-Sep). Locations vary from Canmore to Kananaskis to Calgary.
There are 2 options, a ~5-6km race and a ~10-13km race. As of 2007, a 21km half marathon course has been added with points counting as 1.5 times the regular. Points are earned for top 15 finishes in each age category and at the last race of the season awards are given to the top 3 in each category.
An excellent way to sample the fun of trail running if you haven't done it before.
