Awards
Moose Mountain gives awards to the top 3 male & female finishers in the 16km Telephone Loop and 29km Moose Mountain races. There are also age awards for under and over 40. Lots of great draw prizes are offered to all finishers. Race entry includes a free technical item.
Atmosphere
The Moose Mountain races have a great low-key feel with great organization. Lots of excellent food afterwards with homemade soup and rolls. Free massages and chocolate chip cookies, what more could you ask for?

Overview
The Moose Mountain race is another Alberta classic. The race starts about 9kms from Bragg Creek and offers an undulating 16km loop as well as a challenging 29km climb up and down Moose Mountain.
The 16km Telephone Loop is a great example of a fun trail run with plenty of mud and goop. The 29km Moose Mountain is a great challenge for people who like running up mountains and then running down :)
